Brad Broyles

President

Brad grew up on a cattle ranch in Alamosa, Colorado and moved to Arizona in 2004 in order to work and attend the University of Phoenix.  In 2007 he graduated with a bachelors degree in Management with a concentration in Accounting and Finance.  In 2008 he enrolled in Arizona State University MRED program and was the graduating class of 2009. 

After graduation, he worked as a Vice President Commercial Banker / Asset Management for First Southwest Bank in Durango, Colorado and moved back to Arizona in 2013 in order to work as a commercial advisor for COBE Real Estate.  

In 2018, Brad started Commercial Real Estate Options which is a full service boutique firm in Mesa, AZ.  He specializes in commercial brokerage, investment sales, portfolio management, development, project management and creative land use.  Over his career he has closed over $250 million in commercial real estate and developed self storages, surgical centers, flex industrial complexes, retail buildings and townhome communities.  He has been married for over 15 year with six beautiful children.  He is also a board member of The Music and the Message which supports Childhelp and Operation Underground Railroad, Arizona High School Football Association and an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

He joined the MRED Alumni board in 2017 in order to give back to students and graduates of the program.  He is a proud supporter of Arizona State University and the real estate community.  Go Devils!

Noah Martin

Secretary

Noah is currently the Director of Land Acquisition for Phoenix at AMH Development, a subsidiary of American Homes 4 Rent (NYSE: AMH), a top 2 REIT in its asset class. Noah currently manages the acquisition team for the Phoenix Metro Area in financial analysis, detailed underwriting, land agreement/contract/purchase negotiation, entitlement & approvals, due diligence, and investment committee packages. He previously was the senior development analyst for the Southwest region, which included Reno, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Tucson. He was fundamental in the company’s expansion into new markets such as Tucson and Reno. Prior to this, Noah worked for both Pulte and CalAtlantic in their Land Acquisition/Development and Construction divisions, respectively, in Phoenix. Additionally, Noah manages his family’s portfolio of 30+ investment properties, in a wide range of asset classes.

Noah received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and his Master of Real Estate Development from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. While at ASU, Noah was president of the National Association of Homebuilders and Associated General Contractors, respective student chapters. He was responsible for securing a $100,000 grant from the National Housing Endowment for the Del Webb School of Construction. For his tremendous work in the Del Webb School of Construction, Noah was awarded the Leadership and Service Award. Noah currently serves on the MRED Alumni Board of Directors as Secretary.

 

Holly Chilicas

Communication Chair

Holly relocated to Arizona in 2012 from Ohio, where she was raised and attained her undergraduate degree in Architectural Science from Bowling Green State University. She has been in the professional architecture, real estate, and construction field for 9 years. She has Master Degrees of Architecture and Real Estate Development from Arizona State University. Holly is currently working on becoming a licensed architect to further her career in the industry. She is a Development Services Project Manager at Jokake with a majority of her clients in the life sciences and the bio technology sector. When she is not in the office Holly enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dogs in the great outdoors.

 

Hank Gries

Scholarship Committee Chair

Hank is a 20-year real estate veteran with a broad background in residential real estate, commercial real estate development and investment brokerage. A Phoenix native, Hank brings his wide-ranging experience to each and every transaction. Hank’s credentials include a Designated Broker Real Estate License, a Masters in Real Estate Development from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctorate from the ASU Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law. He is a 17 year resident of the Arcadia neighborhood, and enjoys spending free time with his family and friends when not serving his clients’ needs.

 

Lydia Chelle

Career Committee Chair

Lydia is an Associate at University Realty, a subsidiary of ASU Enterprise Partners, whose primary goal is to advance the mission of ASU by monetizing commercial real estate, investing, acquiring and disposing of real estate, and providing full service, ground-up development including acquisitions and entitlements of land, master-planning and building design, construction and financing of office, industrial and multi-family projects.

Lydia’s background includes roles in tenant coordination at Macerich, where she managed tenant buildouts within numerous large-scale shopping centers across the country including Broadway Plaza, La Cumbre Plaza, The Mall of Victor Valley, The Oaks, The Village of Corte Madera, Arrowhead Towne Center, San Tan Village, Superstition Springs Center, Flatiron Crossing, and Twenty Ninth Street.

Lydia is a graduate of the University of Dayton and received her Master of Real Estate Development from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2018. In addition to University Realty and the AZ MRED Alumni Board, she is an active residential agent and a member of AZCREW, Urban Land Institute and ULI Next, amongst other industry organizations.
